What you need:
1kg Chicken tenderloin chunks 1 tin pineapple pieces
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
celery stalk chopped
1 onion chopped into 1/8s
2 carrots chopped into thickish julienne strips
1 capsicum chopped into either strips or chunks
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
slash of lemon and lime juice
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon cornflour made into a paste
What to do:
Throw everything into the crockpot except for the cornflour, cook on high for about 6 hours, depending on your crockpot. When cooked add the cornflour to thicken the sauce and stir. serve with rice.
TIP: add turmeric to your rice while cooking, not only is it good for you , but you will have yellow rice which looks like saffron rice.
